WEB Jul 4 2017 AP Gordon Hayward has agreed to join the Boston Celtics. The All-Star forward left the
Utah Jazz after seven seasons and chose Boston over Miami and several other teams. Hayward averaged
21.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists last season. He's coming off a season-ending ankle
injury. Hayward is expected to sign a four-year deal with Boston worth about 128 million U.S.
dollars, a person with knowledge of the deal told The Associated Press. The person spoke on
the condition of anonymity because the contract had not yet been signed.
