Former President of Toronto FC and Toronto Argonauts Mutually Agree to Part Ways
Toronto, Canada - Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment (MLSE) has announced that Bill Manning has stepped down as president of Toronto FC and the Toronto Argonauts. Manning, who has been with MLSE since 2015, oversaw the teams' respective championships in recent years.
A Mutually Agreed Decision
According to MLSE, the decision to part ways was made mutually by Manning and the organization. Manning leaves behind a legacy of success, having led Toronto FC to the MLS Cup championship in 2017 and the Toronto Argonauts to the Grey Cup championship in 2017 and 2022.
MLSE thanked Manning for his contributions to the organization and wished him well in his future endeavors. The company has not yet announced a replacement for Manning.
