Alcaraz Continues Dominance Over Tsitsipas in Roland Garros Quarter-Finals

Carlos Alcaraz Defeats Stefanos Tsitsipas in Straight Sets

Carlos Alcaraz, the current world number one, continued his dominance over Stefanos Tsitsipas with a comfortable victory on Tuesday night in the Roland Garros quarter-finals. Alcaraz, who is widely considered to be the best player in the world right now, defeated Tsitsipas in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4, to advance to the semi-finals of the French Open.

Alcaraz Extends Winning Streak Over Tsitsipas

This victory marks Alcaraz's third consecutive win over Tsitsipas, following his triumphs at the Barcelona Open and the Madrid Open earlier this year. Alcaraz has now won all three of their meetings in 2023, and has not dropped a single set against the Greek player all season.

In the Roland Garros quarter-final, Alcaraz was in control from the start. He broke Tsitsipas' serve in the opening game of the match and never looked back. Alcaraz played with great intensity and aggression, hitting powerful groundstrokes and dictating the pace of the match. Tsitsipas, on the other hand, struggled to find his rhythm and was unable to match Alcaraz's level of play.

Alcaraz will now face Casper Ruud in the semi-finals of the French Open. Ruud, who is seeded eighth in the tournament, defeated Marin Cilic in straight sets in his quarter-final match. Alcaraz and Ruud have met twice before, with Alcaraz winning both encounters.
