WEB G-5, officially known as the Marine Grand Line Fifth Branch (海軍GL第5支部 Kaigun Gurando Rain Dai-Go Shibu), is a Marine Base strategically positioned in the New World, near the Red Line. Its proximity to critical shipping routes makes it a vital hub for naval operations.
Punk Hazard Incident
G-5's reputation was tarnished during the Punk Hazard incident (episodes 575-629). The base fell under the control of the corrupt Vergo, who betrayed the Marines and allied himself with Caesar Clown. The subsequent clashes between the Straw Hat Pirates and the Marines resulted in the base's destruction.
Leadership
Smoker: The White Hunter
