Tolls apply to all classes of vehicles, including cars, trucks, SUVs, RVs, and tractor-trailers. The Chicago Skyway map provides toll locations and available plazas and rest areas.

Skyway History and Legal Settlement

Originally known as the Calumet Skyway, the Chicago Skyway is a 7.8-mile-long expressway connecting the Dan Ryan Expressway. A settlement between Illinois and Indiana regarding the placement of the Indiana Toll Road resulted in the construction of the Skyway in 1958.

E-ZPASS Memberships

The E-ZPass members closest to the Skyway are the Illinois Tollway, the Indiana Toll Road, and Skyway. E-ZPass allows for cashless toll payments and can provide discounts.
